Iconic Medical Group was recently featured by Reporter Dan Daru on Fox 31 News for donating 20,000 face shields to Denver restaurants. The event was in conjunction with Toshi and Yasu Kizaki of the pioneering sushi restaurant Sushi Den.
IMG is a group of engineers and medical device manufacturers who work with facilities across the country to manufacture millions of American-made, FDA registered and compliant personal protection equipment (PPE) devices and items. IMG’s ongoing mission is to donate over 50,000 face shields to Denver communities in need.
Miguel Sosa, CEO of Iconic Medical Group, was quoted saying, "One of the first social equity programs that we enacted, and we did here in Denver locally, is we said any restauranteur can come and get 100 free face shields. As a part of our gift to those have been serving us in the service industry for so long. To help them reopen. Because we knew that one of the rate limiting factors to reopening the economy was a lack of access to critical PPE products."
Iconic Medical Group intends on giving 50,000 face shields away in total to different industries and organizations in the Denver area.
